“We had a party of nine people for lunch, celebrating my father‘s 95th birthday. Enrique, the waiter Provided exceptional service from the start to the finish. The menu had something for everyone and the wine list had a nice mix of spirit and wine and beer, some local. Everyone, I’ve spoken to at the lunch, enjoyed their meal. I would not hesitate to recommend a meal at kelp. Kelp also has a lovely bar area which we will take advantage of for a pre-dinner drink on our next booking..”

“Kelp is not only a beautiful venue, it has some of the freshest seafood in the area as well as some of the best service. We ordered the bucket of prawns which were so fresh and delicious, and the whiting fritters + octopus salad. All was in such great balance: flavours, ingredients, portions. If you love seafood and fresh tasteful produce, this is where to go! Drinks list is also of quality.”

“Outstanding! Such a great fine dining experience. Fish was perfectly cooked as was the pork belly. 80% of the menu is gluten free and they have a gluten free fryer. Service was excellent and the decor of the whole place was beautiful. Awesome to see places like this in Ballina, could have been any major city.”
